Jackson Rarin
Jackson Rarin was born in 1987 in Mpuai village in the central part of Maasai Mara Reserve. He grew up on the savannah plains of the Mara surrounded by wildlife. He decided to pursue a career as a professional safari guide showing visitors the natural wonder of the place that he calls home. He attended the Koiyaki Guiding School between 2014 & 2015, graduating with the KPSGA Bronze Certificate. While at guiding school he was an intern at Enkewa Mara Camp, subsequently joining Zebra Plains Mara Camp as Head Tour Guide. While working at a cultural village as a guide in 2017, he met Gabrielle Allen, and together they went on to form Akashinga Maasai Wildlife Safari. Read more here.
Gabrielle Allen
Gabrielle is Founder and CEO of The Farm Ltd, a consortium of companies spanning multiple industries, focused on cultivating innovative strategies and transformational programs which are designed to bring forth actionable solutions to many of the world’s greatest needs.
The co-founding of Akashinga Maasai Wildlife Safari in Kenya, Africa with Jackson Rarin, is in support of the indigenous cultures and conservation communities of whom the rest of humanity rely on as responsible stewards of our wildlife populations. Toby Storie-Pugh
Toby Storie-Pugh, co-founder of Akashinga Maasai, embodies a unique blend of visionary leadership and a deep commitment to community development. His journey has been inspired by a passion for the wild, empty spaces of the Maasai Mara and the indomitable warrior spirit of the Maasai people. Toby's extensive experience in sustainable development is reflected in his co-founding of Flying Kites, a transformative school and teacher training academy in Kenya and Naserian Foundation, currently developing an extraordinary community project in Olpalagilagi, just outside the Maasai Mara National Reserve.
